UIL Participation Rules |

| |
- Students must be eligible in order to compete.
- The school will pay the student's entry fee, but
students are expected to reimburse the school if they do not attend
the meet and compete.
- Students are responsible for purchasing their own
meals unless otherwise noted. In general, the school provides
meals only for district competitions and beyond.
- All contestants should remember that they are
representatives of Water Valley High School and behave accordingly.
- The school dress code must be followed at UIL
meets except that shorts will not be allowed.
- All contestants must ride the bus to the
meet. Exceptions can only be granted by Mr. Bain.
- If a parent picks the student up at the meet, the
parent must sign the student out with a sponsor before leaving.
- If the student plans to ride home from the meet
with anyone other than his or her parent, a note from the parent must
be filed in the office 24 hours prior to the trip.
